The Tuscan singer-songwriter will be alongside Jane’s Addiction, Sleaford Mods and Dinosaur Jr. in an extraordinary alternative rock evening

La Prima Estate is very happy to announce that the opening night of the 2024 festival will open with a live set by MOTTA. Singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and soundtrack composer, MOTTA will bring his latest work “La Musica è finita” live to kick off the super rock evening, which will continue with Sleaford Mods, Dinosaur Jr. and, on a unique national date, the legendary Jane’s Addiction.

The Tuscan artist made his debut as a solo artist in 2016 with “La Fine dei Vent’Anni”, an album for which MOTTA wrote the lyrics, composed the music and took care of the arrangements, and which received great critical and public acclaim, earning him the 2016 Targa Tenco in the “Opera prima” category. ‘La Musica è finita’ is a direct, brazen and powerful album, born out of a strong creative and contamination phase, an album in which the artist shifts the observer’s lens from himself to others, opening up for the first time to unprecedented collaborations. The same day the album was released, the tour started in the clubs of the main Italian cities, collecting numerous sold-outs. For the occasion, Motta returned with a show that was completely different from the one he had accustomed his audience to up to that point: the focus was always on music, but with a different energy, a whirlwind of sounds, lights and wide-open arms that welcomed him date after date. Motta’s deep alt-rock soul is mixed with singer-songwriter in a combination that makes this festival opening an opportunity to explore more facets of rock and to enjoy the evening from start to finish.
