La Prima Estate announces Richard Ashcroft on stage on 21 June, his only Italian date

12 February 2026

Also performing that evening are THE LIBERTINES and THE WOMBATS. An all-British Sunday featuring three artists appearing exclusively at the festival.

La Prima Estate announces one of the most beloved names on the British scene – and beyond – for its fifth edition: Richard Ashcroft, with his sole Italian date, will headline on Sunday 21 June, the third day of the festival in Lido di Camaiore, set against the unique backdrop of Parco BussolaDomani, just a stone’s throw from the Versilia coast.

But that’s not all. Also on stage that same evening will be The Libertines and The Wombats: an evening with a distinctly international flavour and entirely British DNA, bringing together three leading figures from different eras and sensibilities, all three performing exclusively for La Prima Estate.

A line-up perfectly in keeping with the festival’s mood: concerts at the most relaxing time of day, with the waves in the background, time slowing down and the musical experience becoming a gathering and a shared moment.

A pivotal figure in contemporary British music, Richard Ashcroft is one of the most iconic and influential voices of the last thirty years. First with The Verve, and then through a highly successful solo career, he has written fundamental chapters in the history of British rock, leaving a profound mark thanks to his intense songwriting and emotionally powerful live performances.

An artist capable of combining depth, charisma and elegance, perfectly in tune with the identity of La Prima Estate and the unique atmosphere of Versilia.

This is evidenced by his recent appearance as a special guest on Oasis’s historic reunion tour, which brought one of the most legendary eras of Anglo-Saxon music—that of Britpop—back into the international spotlight.

Before Ashcroft, The Libertines take to the stage, one of the most influential and recognisable bands in British rock of the last twenty years, led by the charisma and imagination of Pete Doherty and Carl Barât.
After an intense and often turbulent artistic history, the band has rediscovered a new creative synergy in recent years, culminating in the album All Quiet On The Eastern Esplanade, which marks a moment of maturity and renewed cohesion.

With visceral energy, evocative songwriting and a strong stage presence, their live shows remain a deeply immersive experience, capable of keeping alive the spirit that has made them a benchmark band for entire generations.

Opening the evening are The Wombats, one of the longest-running and most beloved British indie bands of recent years. Formed in Liverpool, they have built a solid and well-regarded career, spanning different eras and audiences without losing their freshness and spontaneity.

Their latest album, Oh! The Ocean represents the band’s most mature and ambitious chapter: a record that broadens their sonic horizons, whilst retaining recognisable melodies and that energy which makes their concerts moments of genuine collective participation.

La Prima Estate returns for its fifth edition from 19 to 21 and from 26 to 28 June at the BussolaDomani Park in Lido di Camaiore.

The artists already announced are: Jack White, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds (exclusive to Italy), Gorillaz, Twenty One Pilots (also for their only date in Italy), The Hives, Sunday (1994), Sleaford Mods, Emiliana Torrini, Wolf Alice, Nation of Language, Wet Leg.

The Municipality of Camaiore and the Region of Tuscany are the festival’s institutional partners. Virgin Radio is the official radio station. Tickets for individual evenings and the 3-day pass for the second weekend are already available on ticketone.it.
