The British duo will take centre stage on Friday, June 18, at Parco BussolaDomani in Lido di Camaiore. Four more artists are set to perform on the same day, with their names to be announced shortly.

La Prima Estate 2027 begins to unveil its lineup with The Chemical Brothers. On Friday, June 18, Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons will bring one of the most acclaimed live shows in electronic music to Parco BussolaDomani in Lido di Camaiore: a thrilling fusion of sound and visuals that transforms a concert into a collective experience.

The Chemical Brothers will headline a day featuring four other artists, whose names will be announced shortly. The festival’s proven format returns, with four or five artists performing each night and a journey of musical discoveries and major live acts that makes every date an experience to enjoy from the very first performance.

This is the first announcement for the sixth edition of La Prima Estate, taking place on June 18, 19, 20 and 25, 26, 27, 2027. Over the last two weekends of June, the festival returns, having won audiences over with its unique atmosphere just steps from the sea and its carefully curated international lineups, whose quality has come to define its identity.

With The Chemical Brothers, the journey towards summer begins with two artists who have transformed electronic music and redefined how it is brought to the stage. Since the mid-1990s, Rowlands and Simons have developed a distinctive sonic and visual universe: powerful beats, euphoric surges and psychedelic imagery intertwine in an immersive show where every track becomes part of a bigger story.

“There is no better dance live act in the world today,” wrote NME. Their reputation has been built on stages around the world and a repertoire that spans generations: from “Block Rockin’ Beats” to “Hey Boy Hey Girl”, from “Galvanize” to “Go”, and on to “Wide Open” and “Got to Keep On”. These tracks have taken their music far beyond the boundaries of clubs, contributing to a career recognised with numerous Grammy and BRIT Awards, over 21 million physical records sold worldwide and six UK number-one albums.

In 2027, The Chemical Brothers will return to the stage for a new series of live shows. Their performance will be preceded by a DJ set from James Holroyd, who accompanies the duo on tour: a musical introduction to the Chemical Brothers’ universe before audiences immerse themselves in a show where music and visuals become one.

They will be welcomed by a festival created to bring music and holidays together. At La Prima Estate, the concert is the centrepiece of days that begin on the beach, continue with explorations of Versilia and culminate in the evening beneath the stage at Parco BussolaDomani. The sea just a few steps away, time to share and a selection of artists that encourages audiences to follow their curiosity: this is the formula that, edition after edition, has made the festival a destination for Italian and international audiences alike.
