Good music at the centre, overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Apuan Alps, and protagonist among debates, meetings and relaxation on the beach. In a natural setting that embraces the colours of summer, a unique stage, just a few steps from the sea, is once again lit up, focusing as always on artistic quality and an international outlook.
La Prima Estate returns to Lido di Camaiore for its fourth edition on the last two weekends of June, 20 to 22 and 27 to 29.

Air, Grace Jones, Spiritualized and Yard Act are among the big names arriving exclusively for the festival with their only Italian date. Plus St. Vincent, Nic Cester, Tony Humphries, Mogwai, Peter Cat Recording Co. and Ramona Flowers. In the tricolour quota Lucio Corsi and Calibro 35, together with Prima stanza a destra, the CAM Sound System project with Sara Mautone, and Il Mago Del Gelato.
A prestigious playbill that looks beyond the streams of the moment by focusing on artistic depth, in the BussolaDomani Park that several years ago hosted Frank Zappa and Miles Davis and now for La Prima Estate has applauded Jane’s Addiction and Michael Kiwanuka, Jamiroquai and Lana Del Rey, Anderson Paak and Duran Duran in past editions.
New this year is a contest conceived and desired to support emerging talents on the Italian music scene. It is Next Stage: La Prima Estate, the initiative organised with the Milanese venue Detune, which has selected six names to open each evening. Tare, Le Nora, Giacoprudente, Rip, Nicaragua and La Gente are the artists who will take the stage in front of the festival audience before the big international live acts.
La Prima Estate begins on Friday 20 June with the best of alternative rock. The post-rock of Scotland’s Mogwai, fresh from the acclaim for their latest album “The Bad Fire”; the psychedelic and electronic sound of Spiritualized led by Jason Pierce; and the post-punk of Yard Act, the cynical and disenchanted English quartet that has even received praise from Sir Elton John.
On Saturday 21 June it is the turn of Air, the French duo that has coined an inimitable language of elegant and highly suggestive electro-pop; and St. Vincent, the undisputed queen of American indie rock and one of the most hypnotic, seductive and chameleonic talents around, who has won three Grammy Awards this year. Italian flag for Calibro 35, among the most enterprising and refined projects on the alternative music scene, just released with their new album “Exploration”; and Prima Stanza a destra, the intimate and visionary project of a 21-year-old artist.
Sunday 22 June exclusively for La Prima Estate the alternative rock of the cult band TV on the Radio, with their only Italian live show after years of silence; Nic Cester, the Australian voice (based in Milan) who has bewitched the world with Are You Gonna Be My Girl in a line-up with Jet; and Ramona Flowers, the English band appreciated for their sound that combines rock, electronics and pop sounds.
The second weekend of the festival includes three special events.
Friday 27 June sees the arrival of Moodymann for Club Friday. Pseudonym of Kenny Dixon Jr., he is among the most beloved, eclectic and innovative names in house music. The day is conceived and realised in collaboration with Kama Kama, one of Versilia’s best-loved clubs and symbols, a pioneering reference point for house and electronic music in the 90s. Tom Trago, a guarantee of creativity, and Mario Scalambrin, pillar of the historic Camaiore club with his explosive sound, will be at the console.
On Saturday 28 June, one of pop culture’s most transgressive, disruptive and revolutionary artists will be on stage for her only Italian date: Grace Jones. A historic muse and charismatic style icon, the ‘panther of music’ arrives at the same venue where she played live in the early 1980s, the legendary BussolaDomani. A true concert event that closes with a DJ set by one of the fathers of house music, Tony Humphries, and opens with the sophisticated and ethereal sound of CAM Sound System with Sara Mautone.
Lucio Corsi is the headliner on Sunday 29 June: the singer-songwriter who has conquered all of Italy with his Volevo essere un duro presents his new album live for a long-awaited homecoming. Opening will be Peter Cat Recording Co., the New Delhi-based band known for their multifaceted fusion of indie, bossa nova, jazz and psychedelia; and the Mago del Gelato, one of the most eclectic projects on the Milan scene, capable of combining lightness and style with their debut album ‘Chi È Nicola Felpieri?’,
Music also remains in the foreground in the festival’s side activities with the talk hosted by Massimo Coppola. The man who was the vj of reference for indie music in the zero years with the historic programme ‘Brand: New’ (reproposed in recent months in clubs and theatres with the updated version ‘Brand: New’) makes an appointment with the public every morning – except 27 June – from 11 a.m. On the roof of the Hotel UNA Experience in Lido di Camaiore, monologues, comments on the previous evening, and a rich programme of talks with guests and exclusive interviews with the artists of the festival will be staged.
It continues from 1 pm on the terrace of Bagno Santeria Belmare during the first weekend with Music Lunch Lovers: three lunches on the terrace with three musical selections dedicated to the different genres and periods of the festival. Friday 20 June will feature The 90s: Alternative Golden Age; Saturday 21 The Sound of Italian Library and Sunday 22 Rock Around The Indie.
Wine lovers can take part in a Santa Cristina wine tasting at Bagno Cavallone on Saturday 22 and Sunday 29 June at 12 noon. For those who prefer beach activities and waking up early, yoga at 9 a.m. at Bagno Cavallone is confirmed again this year.
The Prima Estate confirms the Recycling Bar also for this edition: in exchange for six empty beer glasses or six empty water bottles you receive a free beer or bottle. An initiative made possible by the collaboration between Warsteiner and Acqua Silva, with the supervision and patronage of Corepla (the National Consortium for the Collection, Recycling and Recovery of Plastic Packaging), Pro Food Italia, and Ersu (the Camaiore waste company), thanks to which last year 70% of plastic cups were collected and not abandoned on the ground.
Like every year, there will be a high quality food and drink area with various stands to suit every palate, and like last year, payment will be cashless to streamline queues at the cash desk, with cards that can be recharged online or on site.
Internal transport routes are also strengthened thanks to an agreement with AT – Autolinee Toscane. For the two weekends of the festival there will be two buses per day (round trip) from Florence-Prato and from Livorno-Pisa directly connected to the BussolaDomani Park (bookings at https://www.breakdowntours.com/la-prima-estate-store/p/bus).
Among the partners that make La Prima Estate possible is confirmed the support of Farmaè, powering partner of the event also for this edition, present in the festival area with a dedicated stand. Warsteiner, LPE’s historical partner, is once again the official beer of the event and will accompany the public throughout the evenings with its quality and unmistakable freshness. A great novelty this year is the presence of Santa Cristina, which will participate in the festival as Official Wine with a real wine bar in the park where it will be possible to taste the wines of the Tuscan brand while enjoying the concerts under the stars. Also confirmed is the participation of the Montenegro Group, represented by Cointreau, with a dedicated stand. Finally, making its debut as the official water of the 2025 edition will be Acqua Silva, a Tuscan excellence present for the first time at LPE.
In addition to being an exclusive and official ticketing partner, Ticketone is also a valuable ally of the festival, supporting the organisation in the promotion and management of public access.
The Municipality of Camaiore and the Region of Tuscany are the institutional partners.
As of this year, Radio Mediaset is a partner of the festival, guaranteeing the support of two of its group radio stations, Virgin Radio and Radio Monte Carlo, which become the official 2025 radio stations.
