Recognized worldwide as one of the coolest projects in the Italian alternative music scene, CALIBRO 35 (Tommaso Colliva, Massimo Martellotta, Enrico Gabrielli, and Fabio Rondanini) have become a true reference point both nationally and internationally.
Originally conceived as a research project on the sounds of the golden age of Italian soundtracks, in just over fifteen years, they have managed to produce eight albums, compose numerous film scores, and dedicate special projects to both well-known and obscure music.
JAZZPLOITATION is the band’s latest project—Calibro 35’s adventure into jazz without being a jazz project. It features groove, musician interaction, and improvisation; it embraces both well-known and hidden repertoires, all while maintaining their relentless pursuit of sound.
